Intermediate Band is a combined wind and percussion group made up of incoming 7th Graders and a few 8th Graders. Class time is used for learning fundamentals of sound, rehearsing music for concerts and having fun! Students will be required to purchase Essential Elements 2000 band book ($7.95). FIELD TRIPS AND CONCERTS ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS CLASS. 

Students will be asked to provide black pants, black socks,  black shoes AND purchase a Rowe MS Music Dept. polo shirt ($15.00) for their performance uniform.

Performing traditional concert band literature and other musical styles, this band is made up of experienced instrumentalists. Advanced band represents Rowe Middle School at festivals and other out of school concerts. FIELD TRIPS AND CONCERTS ARE MANDATORY FOR THIS CLASS. 

Students will be asked to provide black pants, black socks, black shoes AND purchase a Rowe MS Music Dept. polo shirt ($15.00) for their casual performance uniform. For festival or concert performances, they must wear a white, long sleeved shirt (a black bow tie and cummerbund will be checked out from the teacher) & their black dress pants, black socks and black shoes.

Cadet band is combined wind and percussion instruments. Students will be starting from the beginning learning how to play an instrument. Students will be required to purchase Essential Elements 2000 band book ($7.95).

Field trips and concerts are mandatory for this class.
